A Big Thank You: Shoutout to local outreach worker Roxy Ruthy for sharing her real-life experience from Luton and Bridgwater!
  • The Problem: Street drinkers on the Cornhill make the centre feel unsafe and harm local businesses, while simply moving them on fails to solve the issue.

  • The Solution: Luton implemented a "Teamwork Plan," directly connecting council and charity services, including outreach, mental health, and addiction support, to get people off the streets. The main organisation coordinating things was NOAH Enterprise.

  • Bridgwater's Opportunity: This proven, credible solution can be adopted right here to address local needs. Take a look at the short videos, Q and As and further resources.

Will the new Devolution deal and promised by Andy Burnham create this sort of service right here?
